Jerry Jones and Robert Kraft had a tense exchange at the owners’ meeting, according to the report

As all 32 NFL owners met and voted to open talks for NFL commissioner Roger Goodell to get a new contract, the vote didn’t come without a wedge of controversy.

Two of the NFL’s most influential owners, Jerry Jones of the Cowboys and Robert Kraft of the Patriots, were reportedly involved in a heated verbal exchange during the owners’ meeting after 31 of the league’s owners voted in support of obtaining of a new contract from Goodell. The only objector to the latest measure involving Goodell was Jones. In his disapproval, the owner of the Cowboys allegedly told Kraft “don’t fuck with me” at the owners only meeting. While Kraft responded to Jones, saying “I’m sorry”, Jones doubled down on him, saying “don’t mess with me”.
