Biden was accused of telling reporter the economy is “strong as hell” while eating ice cream in Portland.

The day after President Joe Biden drew criticism from conservatives on social media for giving unsolicited dating advice to a young teen in California, the president is back in the water for saying “the economy is strong since. to die”.

The comment came during a conversation with a reporter at Baskin Robbins in Portland, Oregon, who asked the president if he had any concerns about the strength of the US dollar amid rising inflation.

With a chocolate chip ice cream cone in hand, Biden replied, “I’m not worried about the strength of the dollar. I’m worried about the rest of the world. Our economy is strong as hell.”

“It’s global inflation. It’s consequential,” Biden also said.

“I wasn’t the only one who thought it was a mistake,” he said. “I think the idea of cutting taxes on the super rich at a time when I didn’t agree with politics anyway, but it’s up to Britain to make that judgment, not me.”

His visit to Portland was particularly noteworthy as Democrats are able to potentially lose the governor’s mansion for the first time in decades, attracting the attention of the White House.

A Democrat has ruled from Salem’s Mahonia Hall since the 1980s, but two running Democrats – Betsy Johnson and Tina Kotek – could end up splitting the voting potential resulting in a victory for Republican Christine Drazan, some experts say.

While the Democratic Party formally recognizes Kotek as its candidate, Johnson still has double-digit support in the polls and could spoil the race.

Biden on Saturday urged voters to support Kotek.

Biden’s comment on the economy comes the day after he stood by a teenage girl and told her not to seriously go out until she turned 30.

“Now a very important thing I said to my daughters and grandchildren: no serious guys until you’re 30!” Biden told the unknown young woman after a speech at Irvine Valley College in Irvine, California.

“Ok,” he replied.
