Adobe’s updates for Photoshop on the iPad foreshadow a promising future

At Adobe’s MAX event, it was announced that Photoshop on the iPad is finally gaining the ability to remove the background from images with a single tap, as well as being able to remove distracting objects from images.

The process of removing the background (opens in a new tab) it will look similar to how you get it on a Mac or Windows PC – simply highlight the background, with the subject that can’t be removed, and replace it with something completely different. The new iPad option is available on the App Store (opens in a new tab) as part of Adobe’s Creative Cloud membership.
