Sometimes, a TV show or movie shows the * perfect * younger or older version of a character.
But sometimes, the casting isn’t up to par and the new actor doesn’t look anything like the old one. Here are 25 serious casting missteps that I can’t forgive.
The first … young Howard Stark Captain America: The First Avenger against old Howard Stark in Avengers: End of the game.
They shouldn’t have rephrased the old Cassie from Avengers: End of the game to Ant-Man and the Vespa: Quantumania. The new Cassie looks nothing like the young one from the first two films.
The young Peter of Wandavision and the major Pietro from The Avengers: Age of Ultron also a completely different look.
You really expect me to believe this kid becomes Don Draper Mad Men? There is no way.
Young Shawn continues Psyche it’s a real effort for me.
I feel like they haven’t even TRIED to get a young actor to play the younger version of Sherlock Sherlock.
Remember that flashback episode of Gossip Girl what did young Carol and Lily show? Well, Carol has changed a LOT over the years.
Giuseppe Salvatore’s younger and younger the Vampire Diaries you don’t even look related.
Young Damon wasn’t very good either.
I know that children’s hair can darken with age, but I still want recognition, they should have at least found an actor with the same hair color for young Nick on New girl.
Or at least the same color as the eyes. I mean, really. The show is constantly talking about Jess’s blue eyes.
Next is young Harry inside Mamma Mia !: Here we go again, and old Harry in the same movie.
And also younger and older Sam from the same movie.
Aaa and Donna too, tbh.
I hate to say it, but … the new Aegon House of the Dragon he doesn’t even look much older than the last one and they look like completely different people.
And his younger brother is not only 20 years older, but he looks completely different than he once was.
Orange is the new black he had such good casting for most of his younger versions of the characters, so it was a disappointment when we finally met Red’s younger self.
Same with Nicky. The kid version of him was decent, but I can hardly believe they are the same person.
Young Locke come on Lost it was a real stretch, tbh.
They even fouled Sayid, honestly.
Ian McKellan looks so distinguished … and he doesn’t match Michael Fassbender. Only one of these men is Magneto to me.
Young Han Solo enters Solo and old Han inside A new hope they are both good looking, but they are definitely not the same person.
Honestly, I was always a little frustrated with young Hope coming in The originals / legacy, because he looks nothing like his parents. The older version is better on that front, but … then she looks nothing like her younger self.
I really have a hard time believing this little version of Kaitlyn Cooper morphed into the right version in just a year and a half. The OC
And finally, that doesn’t mean the actor did a bad job, but I don’t really see this guy as a young Ryan Reynolds in The Adam project. Simply no.
